It was shoes first always for Nina Garcia, creative director of Marie Claire US whenever she planned an outfit, she always started from the bottom up, as she believed it was the best place to start from if you want to feel confident all day long.
Marie Claire in return thought of celebrating this concept twice a year by creating an event that honored shoes, by partnering with luxury shoe outlets to increase footfall, encourage people to buy, engage and be part of something bigger to support a greater cause.
Today this event takes place in more than 12 countries worldwide: France, Italy, the UK, USA, Russia and Thailand, to name a few
